Dear Colleague,
As Editor-in-Chief of the open access journal, Atmosphere (ISSN 2073-4433), I am pleased to announce the launch of the 2017 Atmosphere Travel Awards for two young investigators in atmospheric sciences. The awards will consist of 800 Swiss Francs each.
We are currently accepting nominations and applications. The candidates should hold the position of postdoctoral fellows, assistant professors, or equivalent in atmospheric sciences and will attend and participate in an international conference in 2017. Eligible candidates are encouraged to submit the following files to atmosphere@mdpi.com with the subject "Application for the 2017 Atmosphere Young Investigator Travel Awards - Name" before 30 November 2016,
a. Outline of current and future work (500 words).
b. CV, including a complete list of publications.
c. The conference you plan to attend and the work that will be presented by you.
d. A letter of recommendation from a senior is preferred.
The winners will be announced on the Atmosphere website at the end of 2016 and the awardees are asked to acknowledge the support from the journal Atmosphere in their presentations.
